Based on Technology, Design and Entertainment, TEDxNUST had been one of the best of its kinds of events, being held at NUST for the very first time on November 24th, 2011. Huge support from the Senior Management, faculty and NUSTians made it an enormous success and it left all of us to wait for more. It was the best feedback one could receive as organizers and for that source of motivation the TEDxNUST organizers are bringing an amazing and a whole new different TED experience for the TED enthusiasts called TEDxNUSTLive !
TEDxLive is actually a kind of extension for the usual TEDx conferences . This idea was officially launched for the very first time in 2010. TEDxLive events are TEDx events built around the live webcast of the TED Conferences and enable the TED lovers all over the world to experience the live sessions of the TED conference being held anywhere in the world. Some of the events are simple viewing events where as some host the Live speakers.
The idea of TEDxLive grew when the TED people thought to make the TED conferences more open, the impact more immediate and becoming more tangibly global. They aimed at gathering the communities all around the world to engage them with and build on the TED Conference experience while it happened live. With the help of such events communities are encouraged to organize events not only in the form of TED Conferences but also around the live webcast of an Official TED Conference.
To experience the TED Global event being held in UK this year, TEDxNUSTLive is being organized at NUST to welcome you all at a brand new experience of TED with a hope that this time the TEDxNUSTLive philosophy will be more inspiring, exciting and motivating for the TED attendees.
