Friday 20th April 2012, The basketball final of “1st intersection championship 2012” two Teams Fidai Champs (2010 C) v.s Malang Bawlers (2010 B) was held. The event was held by NiBA “NICE basketball association” the newly formed association.
1st intersection basketball championship was league lasted for about 3 weeks. 5 teams participated. Though it was unofficial tournament but the president of association Abdul Hanan Mughal managed to turn the final match official. All the best arrangements were done.
Program Coordinator Colonel Athar was chief guest. Major Idrees, the admin Officer of NICE also came to watch the match.
NiBA is very thankful and is satisfied for all the arrangements made by NICE and SCEE. The final match ended with ceremony.
2010 C won the match. Arslan Ahmed was man of the series. Both runner-ups and winners were given cash prizes. The chief guest was given shield.
The president says that in such small budget it was very difficult to manage huge event which was done nicely and calmly. NiBA is thankful to Allah Almighty for such great respect and impression, the NiBA made on SCEE officials.
The president also appreciates Hayyan Ahmed and Muhammad Fawad, who made the final ceremony so good.
NiBA has future plans to organize the basketball event in whole SCEE including IGIS and IESE.
