We did not know the actual scenario. Let me put you in a situation where your father is posted in Mastoong Baluchistan or a small city near the border in which hardly there is a college and if available but no teachers or local teachers from Baluchistan and not capable to teach science subjects. What would be your results. Moreover why are you trying to get admission in NUST, why not from any other university, because you know that it is a good university with good teachers and good quality of education.

this is un fare
if we see uk ,they never make their students failure because they dont make them hopeless even students dont qualify test..but pakistan wont understand the importance of students who can make a brighter pakistan…most of pak students lose hopes with each test
o bahi logo tum kis sa kah raha ha ho gis uni ki test paper leak huee ha woh kuch b kr sakta ha ok…..so don,t become so dishearted…
sir i understand you are right that nust paper was leaked last year so they made a system which is now evenly fair.
and let me mention here that a student got 2100 merit position is selected in GIKI in the first merit list and i secured 2000 merit position even in the second and am not selected just becoz his father is in health ministry
so what do you think of GIKI now??
NUST’s paper was leaked and they retook it. So, is the GKI going to cancel his admission??

i m admited in Nust ths year in civil engineering. I clear u all people that 75 percnt weightage has given to Nust entrnce test and 10 percnt to matric and 15 percnt f.sc. So concentrate on Test not f.sc.

one thng i mention here that nust do justice with all student….. Paper was leakd but they dnt dsheart stdnt. Okay.

There is some problem in on line test merit preparation. The students whom got very good positions in FSc part (top 10 positions) GCU lahore students have got merit # 2000 to 3000. Transparency of test is questioned mark. Like how much you get in test and how the calcualtions have been made. In on line result declaration we can not veiw the broad spectrum of candidates. Open list should be declared and printed into press or notice boards, website. There are definetly mistake which authorities are not accepting. I have even apply for the recheck but no stisfaction and comments. The same was the situation with Lahore board last year and lot of mistakes were decleared after the student srikes in all over the Punjab and the result was corrected. Same is the case with GIKI and NUST. They are not preparing theopen merit creteria or system.
Sorry NUST/GIKI/LUMS are playing with future of the students. They are money collectors. Allah pak in ko Haydayate daay.
I agree wd Iqbal just about LUMS.Believe me or not LUMS owns a worst example of dual standards nd corruption.Every year they receive billions of dollars from US AID,for their NOP programme.but they don’t even care to select 50% ov em on merit basis nd all ov the AID goes to heck!if u ask me i’d say LUMS SUCKS!!
Nd guys..i wanna ask sthng to ya’ll.Ive been selected in NUST SEECS,hv also been offered scholarship.nd p.s ive also been offered admission to GIKI,LUMS,FAST nd PIEAS in EE earlier.But i selected NUST over the rest by myself.Nw ECAT is coming down to the road nd im a bit confused right here to take it or not.Kindly if any ov u guys can help me a li’l bit in comparing NUST nd UET then i’ll be very thankful to him/her.
