“HEY YOU THERE…! is this what you call an Exam! Give me your roll slip and that god dam paper” —- Better avoid these lines while giving your test. What to avoid and what not to during the exam is clear, the same very rules taught by the teachers when you were in primary—Don’t Cheat!, Don’t look around, No communication with others, use your own stuff, no mobile phones, no electronic equipment or else you will be thrown out of the exam hall even yar ab to Ruler py likh k denay wala idea b purana ho gya hai! The staff at your entry test day would be including teachers, lab attendants and even the senior batch students as well. But one thing is for sure while in entry test for NUST, i can at least guide you that its not what you see at faces, you can’t rely on any one though if its your good luck that any examine there is your cousin, brother or any friend. And to tell you people something, even those three hours won’t be sufficient for you, so plan accordingly and try to concentrate on your paper. Many people read such instructions and always say after it “Sab chalta hai yar”, well even i would say the same if i were to be at your place. But some things are really important to keep in mind while entry test, you would surely make yourself in a hell big trouble if you would have any written material with you, since there is no compromise on it. Moreover you shouldn’t be carrying any helpful electronic equipment or mobile phones with you. Because they are the evidence and evidences could lead to some serious actions.
Now lets just talk about some serious issues that can be caused during entry test and you should better be avoiding them.
- Sit According to Your Roll Number:
As Allotted your roll number the staff expect you to be seated where you should be in the exam room. Since when you will be in the exam room while you will be having your test your roll number slips would be checked to ensure whether you are the right applicant and whether you are sitting on your assigned seat or not. Any one caught will definitely be get in sight of the examiner as it will be your first impression and you will be in continuous examiner’s sight till the paper finishes. So avoid getting your first impression spoiled off.
- Exchange of stuff:
Bring your own pencils, calculators and accessories, you won’t be entertained with any thing there. Moreover you can’t exchange or borrow stuff during the paper from other candidates. Even that borrowing stuff could lead you in some serious trouble, as if you are caught it would be consider a violation of rules in exam hall and it will treated accordingly. So better not take risk in this matter at least — And DEAR you are coming to give a test not to party on floor , So bring your own items!
- Trying to contact any examiner:
One more thing which you should avoid is to trying or accessing to any examine. Such actions show you interests of acquiring any sort of help form any examine and the senior or head examiner may point you out and it could also lead to some disciplinary action against you since you are trying illegal means to find your answers. All the queries and doubts would be handled and entertained by the teachers on duty and candidates are welcome to put welcome to ask their queries but asking irrelevant questions or something that could help you in your test may be treated as violation.
- Looking around:
Looking around is really a bad idea. Its as like as you look around in your board exams and got caught by your examiner, he/she takes your paper from you and you keep saying i didn’t do any thing! Moreover the exam hall/room where you will have your paper would already have sufficient staff for such thing and believe me NUST don’t lack any staff. You will have four examine where there should be two. And to give a tip they may tolerate some other issue but they won’t go for any tolerance at this peculiar case. So better not look around like goofs.
- Discussing with other fellows:
Time plays tragic role in such experience while giving NUST exam at least. First of all its really tough to do so. One should have guts before asking someone in front of all examines. But still if you find any way to to ask some one you might get trap by the time shortage in the end. Since the time allocation of three hours would also get deficient when you will start the paper, and believe me it really will. So properly set your time for each portion and try to finish it in time.
- Use of Cell phones, electronic watches etc:
No Cell phones , pda’s, electronic equipments not even electronic dictionaries allowed during exams. In addition to it the calculator you are using should also be just able to do those math functions only, some advanced calculators having storage memories and something stored in it would also be treated seriously.
- Carrying Helpful material:
Any written material that could help or assist you in your exam is strictly prohibited. As discussed earlier such things are evidences of your being culprit, and evidences could lead you to disqualification from exam as well. Since they are the prove of your act and your paper could be taken from you without any tolerance. So watch out your pockets before starting paper.
- Use of Unfair means:
A variety of things include up in unfair means such as trying to access Question paper before and after exam, looking at others paper during exam, Trying to be bully on another, trying to access helpful material during you ask for water or rest room short break, trying to access administration before and after paper, Asking help from your mates or even staff out there.
All the above points include in cheating plus any possible unfair mean would not be entertained. So its obvious what to do and what not to. You can’t cheat via cell phones, discussion, cross talk, accessing paper before time, using helpful material or any possible way. Not even you could cheat that machine by marking two answers to one question. It will mark it straight away as zero. So put your all devotion to your paper!
- THE BIG TIP>> AVOID GETTING CAUGHT:
Its surely the biggest tip of all 😉 like in the end who cares and who abides by all the rules, i know it at least very well. So for sure where Sab Chalta Hai Yar is applicable you must be precautioned already for being getting caught too. But to tell you people taking some written material with you is really a bad idea. Rest of all i know even reading or being told a hundred of times every rule of this game in the end all happens what you think to do, so i can at least ensure that getting caught may lead some serious actions, but all those who have Guts and life moto “Who Cares” >> Avoid Getting Caught. (Winks)
So take a Chill Pill & all the Best!
