MECON 2011, Islamabad’s premier marketing competition (Thanks to NEC and Eat-Islamabad)

NUST Entrepreneurs Club hereby invites you to “MECON 2011”; a marketer’s extravaganza. The event would be held from 19th to 23rd of May, 2011 and would be the perfect platform for interested students to polish their marketing and selling pitch. Students would be required to sell coupons of Eat Islamabad inside and outside NUST in groups of 3 each. Participants would be judged on the basis of the number of coupons sold in the allotted time period. The group with the most coupons sold would be rewarded cash money accordingly. The cash prizes would be distributed as follows:

  • Winner Rs. 5000,
  • First runner-up Rs. 3000,
  • Second runner-up Rs. 2000.

 

The participants will have to get in touch with the representative of their respective school to get coupons. Each coupon costs Rs. 100 and there is no limit to the number of coupons that a team can sell. This event would help them gain practical experience by developing marketing, promotion and sales strategies.

The closing ceremony for MECON 2011 will be held in the SEECS seminar hall on Monday, 23rd May, 2011. Along with the cash prize, shields will be awarded to the top three teams. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all participants.
