Pro/Engineer and CNC Programming:
NUST School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) is organizing a four week course which will cover Pro/Engineer and CNC Programming. In 2 weeks time, introduction of pro/Engineer with basic part modeling, introduction to assembly and overview about the mechanism will be covered. In the next 2 weeks, the basic CNC programming will be unveiled which will also include interfacing of CAM data with CNC Machining Center.
What is Pro/Engineer?
Pro/ENGINEER is 3D modeling software which facilitates efficient and convenient transformation of your imagination into an easy visualization by modeling. Using the advance techniques, design different parts you want to machine, assemble and the virtual realities of Pro/ENGINEER.
What is CNC Programming?
Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines are programmable machines which can manufacture the desired parts with high accuracy and less machining time. Write the CNC program using G and M codes and fabricate different parts by interfacing CNC Machine with Computer System.
Who Should Attend:
Engineers, designers and researchers who are desirous of converting conceptual designs into reality through modeling (3D) platforms. Pro/Engineer serves this purpose by enabling the user to apply modeling and assembly techniques in a parametric build environment. Post modeling session, familiarization with CNC Programming and practical exposure to CNC Machines would be advantageous for those who desire enhancement of conceptual design approach to the level of fabrication.
